Mary, Queen of Socks Club

Today I bring you a sneak peek of my 2019 pattern club. It will run from January 2019-December 2019. It will have 7 patterns. Seven are inspired by important people from the life of Mary, Queen of Scots and then an ornament pattern that will release in December 2019.

I’m so excited to share with you what I’ve been working on and I’ve been planning this out for the past couple of months.

I had been fascinated with Mary, Queen of Scots since the show Reign came out. Yes, I know it wasn’t historically accurate, but the level of drama in her life was nearly equal to what was shown in this tv show. I quickly read and found other movies and TV shows about her life and even sat through a…questionable quality Spanish version just to see the story again.

Now I get to use her story as inspiration for my newest patterns. I selected five important figures from her life (because Queen Mary already counts as one). This meant more rewatching and reading the books which was a HUGE plus for me. And breaking into some of the yarns I’d been saving for samples is a bonus.

Each pattern will have toe up and cuff down construction in separate patterns. Each pattern will also have written and charted instructions.

I will release gauge and yarn details two weeks before each pattern so you’ll be ready to go!

There will also be a private Facebook group for club members to post and share photos of their progress.

We will have a virtual knit night every couple of weeks to talk about the patterns and share with each other.

This is going to be so much more than a pattern club, it’s going to be a year long community of sock knitters knitting together.

The patterns will be exclusive to club members for one year from the release of the pattern.

Pre-orders are open until December 26th at the introductory price and a second pre-order will open January 1st-January 15th at full price.

I hope you’ll join me!
