Welcome to my new blog series. Every Sunday I’m going to talk about one of the pairs of socks I’m knitting and then ask you, what’s on your sock needles today?
Today I’m pretty dedicated to my Arabesque Socks by Jessica Gore. I started these TWO years ago out of Spun Right Round in Graffiti Overlay and got to the heel then put them away!
I don’t even have a good reason for doing so. This is where I left off and I’m hoping I’ll be able to bring you an updated photo next weekend (finished?!) as I want to gift them to someone special for Christmas.
Now that I’ve picked them back up they’re ZOOMING along. I honestly love everything about this pattern and Jessica did such an amazing job writing it. I think I picked the right yarn too. The only thing I would have gone differently is use a shorter circular cable as it keeps getting in my way.
I’m using Addi Turbo Lace circulars in US 1.5 (2.5mm) and I think it’s a 40 inch cable since 32 inch is my happy length.
What socks are you knitting today?
